The SOPEC Electric Aggregation Program rate in the City of Belpre is $0.09756 (or 9.756 cents) per kilowatt-hour (kWh), while the AEP Ohio residential “Price to Compare” (or Standard Service Offer) for the generation supply portion of your bill is $0.0987 (or 9.8 cents) per kWh. Additionally, Belpre has a gas aggregation program with SOPEC. The City of Belpre and SOPEC made the decision to pause the program given the very competitive current “Standard Choice Offer” of $0.492 per ccf with Enbridge. SOPEC will work with the City of Belpre to lock in a new rate for gas aggregation when it will benefit Belpre residents and small businesses.
