UPDATE:
The company is contracted for 10 days. The list of streets are below. However, It depends on how the process goes as to where they are in their schedule. I am sorry that we do not have a more detail outline. As they provide more information, we will update this site.

According to the contractor there is a verry low probability of backup into residences during the process. You may hear a bubbling noise when close to your home. If you happen to smell sewer gas during this process, the trap is most likely empty. Therefore you need to flush your toilet or run water in your sinks. If you have further questions please call the city building and ask for the Safety Service Director.

ATTENTION
We will begin sewer jetting today.

The affected areas, in the order listed is how the company plans to proceed.

Lambert Street, Hill Street, Circle Drive, Norway Ave, Middle Street, Parker Alley, Farson Street, Rockland Ave, Poplar Street, and Valley View Drive.

Please be sure all toilet lids are closed and plastic wrap over the bowl, Plug all basement floor drains, Remove Washing machine drain pipe from drain stand pipe, Empty your dishwasher.

The maintenance people will be in town April 6th to 17th. There will be a fliers distributed to the affected areas.

On Monday April 6th the Water contractors will be working on Hanvey Street to connect the new water line.

Subject: Water Line Maintenance – Monday, April 6, 2026

Please be advised that scheduled water line maintenance will take
place on Monday, April 6, 2026, between
11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. During this time, water service will be temporarily interrupted.
Once water service is restored, a boil water advisory will be in effect as a precaution until required water samples are collected and tested. During the advisory, residents and businesses should boil all water used for drinking, cooking, or food preparation.
You will be notified through local media outlets and by notice delivered to your location once the boil water advisory has been lifted.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this necessary maintenance.
